From touring with Paquito D’Rivera and Sting to chart-topping jazz releases and premieres of his orchestral music at Chicago’s Symphony Center, the legendary guitarist Fareed Haque is known for his wide-ranging collaborations. Guitarist of the adventurous rock group King Crimson, Trey Gunn plays a unique 10-string touch guitar with a huge range called the Warr guitar. Violinist Radhika Iyer has been praised for her successful fusion of traditional Indian classical music with contemporary sounds. Together with acclaimed composer and guitarist Jason Everett, a longtime multi-genre collaborator and 2017 Jack Straw Artist in Residence, these stellar guest artists will join Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra to explore connections between Indian classical music and flamenco.
